I've tried several nude patches advertised on the internet, nothing works. Is it Into the Future that's the problem. Nothing seems to be recent. Somebdy please just tell me where to go to get a nude patch for the.

Contents The SimsRemoving the blurred pixels from the Sim in the first game was relatively simple and there was no need for a mod to do this. To remove the pixels, enable the moveobjects on cheat and move a Sim away from a bathtub, an enclosed shower, or a love bed. Download inpage for windows 10. The censor will remain where it is and the Sim will be nude.

  • Core mods will break.
It is up to the people who made the mods to decide if they want to fix them or not.
I don't know if it will affect non-core mods.

There aren't actually all that many TS3 Core Mods out there. The only two from NRaas that are Core are ErrorTrap and UntranslatedKey. We don't think either of them will really break on Patch 1.69, but they will display a core version mismatch error on loadup. It's really too soon to tell.
The other more popular core mods I can think of are Awesome and CMarNYC's. There may be a couple of others I'm not thinking of at the moment, but most TS3 mods are Script and Tuning, not Core.

  • Could you help and tell me if any of these are considered core. These are the one's that I would like to put in. Most are from Nraas.
    Overwatch
    Decensor
    Story Progression
    Master Controller
The one we are not supposed to talk about :)

  • I'm kind of SOL, but I'll try it with ET (I like this mod, but we shall see). Beyond that, I replaced my computer this summer (before the other broke), and so I still have IT on 1.67, just checked..so yippee on that So there is that at least. It's not on my super fast, everything in ultra high mode, but it will works decent. I did cry tears over this. I know I sound like some wee child, but this game means a lot. Sad to say it's kind of an outlet for the things I can no longer do due to that dirty 'D' word ( aka; disability)
  • I'm waiting to see if I can still play without going through Origin or the launcher before I update.
I checked last night and I do have patch 1.67 exe file downloaded so I should have everything I need backed up.
Hopefully this means I'll be able to continue playing if I don't update Origin ever again.
This is not my preferred way to go as I've been keeping it up to date but I'm not moving on to something that will force me to launch Origin to play Sims 3. Even if it means I can no longer launch Sims 4 or other games I have through Origin.

what @Igazor has said, it's pretty much ErrorTrap and Untranslated Key of the NRaas mods.

I've already answered this above. The only two mods in the NRaas collection that are Core Mods are ErrorTrap and UntranslatedKey. The rest are Script Mods.
And so far the only problem being reported with ErrorTrap on the new patch is the standard core version mismatch warning being displayed on startup, which can be dismissed.

So, if NRAAS decide to update ErrorTrap then anyone who doesn't update the game will have that message to dismiss in future?

Not if we make separate versions of each ErrorTrap future release available for Patch 1.67 and 1.69 ongoing, just as we have had to do for players on Steam installs all along. The current and older versions aren't going anywhere either.
But again, it's too soon to tell if any of this will really be necessary.

Thank you. I still haven't finally decided what to do but if the patch means I have to launch through Origin then I doubt I'll ever do it. Which will be a first for me - I've always kept up to date in the past.

  • Well, I'm going in and trying things out. I'm trying a test save, but I'm NOT using ET, but all my other standard mods, most from NRaas with a couple of other script mods (the gardener mod, the barista coffee from any coffee machine, and the fix fountains).
One thing I found odd (and I run Win 8.1 with classic shell) is that the patch created an extra shorcut icon on the desktop that directed straight to the Origin client and NOT to the program files location (x86) location. I started with the OLD shortcut and have closed Origin (after today I don't trust them at ALL).
Thus far, game opened okay with my mods and CC on my test. We shall see.
Thank you @igazor for all your help and patience..and to everyone that helped.

Are you able to launch the game without using Origin? People are reporting elsewhere that you can non longer launch from the .exe file.

That is what crinrict is reporting.

I also applied the update. If I try to launch via the launcher it will prompt the Origin box to come up. Then I put in my Origin ID and password. I can then get the game to launch via the launcher by clicking the launcher.

Yes I was able to do so. I deleted the shortcut icon that directed me to origin instead of the program files. However I'm not sure if it is the .exe file or not so take it for what it is worth. I will say that I MADE sure to log out and exit Origin before I even started because I'm so frustrated with EA right now.
  • Thanks for the info. I'm not game to update until I'm sure that I can still just click on the .exe file and it launches the game as usual. I think I'll wait a few days to see how it goes.

  • Well thanks guys, this answered my question from another thread. Is it recommended to wait to see what breaks in other people's game before d/l this patch?

Always wait for 'first adopters' to weigh in with their experiences.

  • I'll be waiting to see of this will break my Mods before I let it happen.I'd choose my Mods over this if I had to choose one or the other.

  • Oh! Expletive Deleted! I was about to say that I don't plan to update but I may have no choice. I had to re-install Windows and I still haven't had time to re-install my game. Worse. I have been playing on version 1.63. I never found any reason to update beyond that. I really don't want to deal with a new revision if what I have had was working just fine for me.

We have released a new version of ErrorTrap for Patch 1.69 into beta testing for those who want it. That will suppress the startup core version mismatch error, unless you have any core mods from other sources that need to be updated as well. Future parallel releases of ErrorTrap will be done for 1.67 and 1.69.

Except for UntranslatedKey and the one whose initials are NC and that we cannot talk about here, the rest of the NRaas mods are not affected by this patch.
Our official recommendation remains to avoid this update for now if possible.

Alas, I didn't WANT to be a first adopter. I honestly thought it was an update for another game I had installed on computer the night before and thought it was more about patching to a windows 10 framework or something. They had said that patch 1.67 was to be the last patch.
On my computer, I didn't see any lag playing last night, but I didn't play any of my saves, just a test that I have. It seemed to go okay.
  • One known issue I've discovered is that if you delete your cache files, it will uncheck all your expansion/stuff packs in the new launcher.
